Why we get olderWill we get older? The immortality is only for the films of Hollywood. But why get older people born with a body full of robust mechanism for fighting disease and injuries, one would expect that would continue to protect us from rigid joints and other emerging diseases as they grow. But as we are older, the repair mechanisms of our body start to abandon us. As a result, our resistance to physical injury and loads increasingly reduced. These theories examine why we get older are divided into two categories: 1) as all human characteristics, aging could be just a part of human genetics and is somehow beneficial to us, 2) the less optimistic view, aging not perform any purpose, but is the result of destruction of cells takes place during the course of our lives. Some researchers, however, few believe that science will eventually managed to slow aging, at least enough to live twice as long as we live in now. |
